    Inferior Sagittal Sinus

    An intracranial venous sinus that lies in a midline location along the lower free border of the falx cerebri of the brain. The sinus receives blood from the great cerebral vein and joins the superior sagittal sinus posteriorly. (NCI Thesaurus)
