Intermediate Soft Tissue Neoplasm
A soft tissue neoplasm arising from mesenchymal cells. It is characterized by an increased risk of local recurrence and a low risk of metastasis. Representative examples include angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma, giant cell tumor of soft tissues, deep fibromatosis/desmoid tumor, inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor, atypical lipoma, and hobnail hemangioendothelioma.
