Isomerase Gene
Isomerase Genes encode enzymes (Isomerases) that catalyze spatial or structural changes within a molecule by rearrangement or transfer of specific atoms or moieties to a new intramolecular location to form a new single product. The reactions do not involve a net change in the concentrations of compounds other than the substrate and the product. (NCI Thesaurus)
