Landau-Kleffner Syndrome

A rare childhood syndrome characterized by the progressive or sudden inability to understand and use spoken language (aphasia) and paroxysmal electrical brain waves. Patients develop epileptic seizures and behavioral changes. (NCI Thesaurus)
