Macrovesicular Steatosis
A morphologic finding indicating intracytoplasmic fat accumulation in the liver parenchyma. Unlike microvesicular steatosis, the fat accumulation displaces the nucleus of the hepatocytes, creating a characteristic signet-ring appearance. (NCI Thesaurus)
