    Malignant Paraganglioma

    Definition 1

    A paraganglioma that metastasizes to regional or distant anatomic sites. Extraadrenal paragangliomas have a higher tendency to metastasize, as compared to pheochromocytomas. Common sites of metastasis include the lymph nodes, lungs, bones, and liver. (NCI Thesaurus)
