Mature T-Lymphocyte
A lymphocyte derived from a pre T-lymphocyte in the thymus and stored in secondary lymphoid organs, bone marrow, and lymph nodes. It circulates in the bloodstream and the lymphatic system, where it searches for and attacks particular foreign or abnormal cells. A mature T lymphocyte has T cell receptors and other surface proteins on its cell surface. (NCI Thesaurus)
