MDS2 wt Allele
Human MDS2 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 1p36 and is approximately 59 kb in length. This allele, which encodes myelodysplastic syndrome 2 translocation-associated protein, is involved in a chromosomal translocation t(1;12)(p36.1;p13) with the ETV6 gene that is associated with myelodysplastic syndrome.
