    Meigs Syndrome

    Definition 1

    A rare syndrome affecting females. It is characterized by pleural effusion, ascites and non-malignant ovarian neoplasm. This syndrome usually follows a benign course. Prognosis is favorable following surgical resection of the ovarian mass. (NCI Thesaurus)
