    N,N-Dibenzyl Daunomycin

    The N-alkylated analogue of the anthracycline antineoplastic antibiotic daunomycin. N,N-Dibenzyl Daunomycin interacts with topoisomerase II, thereby inhibiting DNA replication and repair and promoting DNA fragmentation. This agent is less cardiotoxic than daunomycin. (NCI Thesaurus)
