    Naive T-Lymphocyte

    A mature T-lymphocyte that has differentiated in the bone marrow and undergone central tolerance selection in the thymus but has not interacted with its cognate antigen. These cells are characterized by the presence of the T-cell receptor, L-selectin and the IL-7 receptor and the absence of CD25, CD44, CD69 and CD45R0. (NCI Thesaurus)
