    Nasoduodenal Tube

    A small bore flexible feeding tube with a weighted metal tip that is ideally placed in the second or third part of the duodenum. It is used to provide nutritional support to patients who are unable to tolerate oral feeding or who require mechanical ventilation. (NCI Thesaurus)
