    Nidogen

Nidogen, a 150-kD sulfated glycoprotein, is a major component of basement membranes and forms a highly stable noncovalent complex with laminin. It is encoded by the NID1 gene. Vasculostatin, a 20 kDa C-terminal fragment of nidogen, has anti-angiogenesis activity. (from OMIM and NCI) (NCI Thesaurus)
