    Palmitoylated Membrane Protein 2

Encoded by human MPP2 Gene (MAGUK Family), 576-aa 65-kDa Palmitoylated Membrane Protein 2 is suspected to play a role in signal transduction and contains 1 PDZ/DHR domain, a conserved SH3 domain, and 1 guanylate kinase-like domain. MAGUKs interact with the cytoskeleton and regulate cell proliferation, signaling pathways, and intercellular junctions. (NCI Thesaurus)
