    පඤ්ඤාවුද්ධිසුත්ත

    The Growth of Wisdom

    “චත්තාරෝමේ, භික්ඛවේ, ධම්මා පඤ්ඤාවුද්ධියා සංවත්තන්ති. කතමේ චත්තාරෝ? සප්පුරිසසංසේවෝ, සද්ධම්මසවනං, යෝනිසෝමනසිකාරෝ, ධම්මානුධම්මප්පටිපත්ති—ඉමේ ඛෝ, භික්ඛවේ, චත්තාරෝ ධම්මා පඤ්ඤාවුද්ධියා සංවත්තන්තී”ති.

    “Bhikkhus, these four things lead to the growth of wisdom. What four? Associating with good people, listening to the true teaching, rational application of mind, and practicing in line with the teaching. These four things lead to the growth of wisdom.”
