    Expressions (1st)

    “चत्तारोमे, भिक्खवे, अनरियवोहारा। कतमे चत्तारो? अदिट्ठे दिट्ठवादिता, असुते सुतवादिता, अमुते मुतवादिता, अविञ्ञाते विञ्ञातवादिता—इमे खो, भिक्खवे, चत्तारो अनरियवोहारा”ति।

    “Cattārome, bhikkhave, anariyavohārā. Katame cattāro? Adiṭṭhe diṭṭhavāditā, asute sutavāditā, amute mutavāditā, aviññāte viññātavāditā—Ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro anariyavohārā”ti.

    “Bhikkhus, there are these four ignoble expressions. What four? Saying you’ve seen, heard, thought, or known something, but you haven’t. These are the four ignoble expressions.”
