    PAX3/FKHR

An antisense oligonucleotide targeting mRNA of the chimeric PAX3/FKHR fusion gene, an oncogenic transcriptional activator found in rhabdomyosarcomas. PAX3/FKHR antisense oligonucleotide down-regulates protein production and induces apoptosis in cells expressing the PAX3/FKHR fusion gene. (NCI Thesaurus)
