Peer-reviewed Scientific Project
The peer-reviewed scientific project is one which proposal was reviewed by experts in the field who are not part of the project staff (in some cases, are not affiliated with the submitting institution), and do not have any conflicts of interest that could bias their opinions. The number of reviewers, the reviewing procedures and criteria, and the use made of the reviewers' opinions may vary, and therefore each reviewing organization/committee has to publicly disclose its policies.
