    Pericytic tumor

    Pronunciation

    A type of soft tissue tumor that begins in cells that wrap around blood vessels. Pericytic tumors may be benign (not cancer) or malignant (cancer). They can occur anywhere in the body. Pericytic tumors may occur in adults or children. Also called perivascular tumor. (NCI Dictionary)
