    Perineurial Cell

    A cell that belongs to the supporting tissue surrounding a nerve fiber bundle. It has thin long bipolar cytoplasmic processes, pinocytotic vesicles, fragments of external lamina and/or external lamina-like material, attachment plaques, and desmosome-like junctions. (NCI Thesaurus)
