PHLDA2 wt Allele
Human PHLDA2 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 11p15.5 and is approximately 1 kb in length. This allele, which encodes pleckstrin homology-like domain family A member 2 protein, is involved in tumor suppression. Aberrant alterations in this region generate variant alleles that are associated with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, Wilms tumor, rhabdomyosarcoma, adrenocortical carcinoma, and lung, ovarian, and breast cancer.
