    Prekallikrein Deficiency

    A condition characterized by the congenital or acquired deficiency of prekallikrein. This deficiency is usually not associated with bleeding. The congenital deficiency is very rare. Acquired deficiency may occur in diffuse intravascular coagulation, infections, and sickle cell disease. (NCI Thesaurus)
