Prevotella buccalis
Definition 1
A species of obligately anaerobic, Gram-negative, rod shaped bacteria assigned to the phylum Bacteroidetes. This species is nonmotile, non-spore forming, nonpigmented, cellobiose, sucrose, lactose, esculin hydrolysis, beta-N-acetyl-glucosaminidase, alpha-fucosidase, and beta-glucosidase positive, but xylose arabinose rhamnose salicin, indole, beta-xylosidase and glycine aminopeptidase negative. P. buccalis has been isolated from the mouth. (NCI Thesaurus)
