PRKAR1A/RET Fusion Gene
A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation t(10;17)(q11.2;q23) which fuses 717 nucleotides of the PRKAR1A gene and the 3' portion of the RET gene. This rearrangement is associated with papillary thyroid carcinoma. (NCI Thesaurus)
