Pseudomonas alcaligenes

A species of aerobic, Gram negative, rod shaped bacteria in the phylum Proteobacteria. This species is motile, non spore forming, can degrade polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and is used as a soil inoculant for bioremediation purposes.
