Pseudomonas mendocina
Definition 1
A species of aerobic, Gram negative, rod shaped bacteria in the phylum Proteobacteria. This species is motile, non spore forming, oxidase positive and able to degrade toluene. P. mendocina has been isolated as the cause of rare cases of opportunistic nosocomial infective endocarditis and spondylodiscitis. (NCI Thesaurus)
