    Psychrobacter phenylpyruvicus

    A species of aerobic, Gram negative, rod and cocci shaped bacteria assigned to the phylum Proteobacteria. This species is catalase and oxidase positive, acid phosphatase positive and can grow in citrate containing media. P. phenylpyruvicus has been shown to be a nosocomial pathogen. (NCI Thesaurus)
