    Range of Motion

    A measure of joint flexibility, range of motion is the normal range of movement for a joint, consisting of flexion, how far it can bend, and extension, how far it can stretch. It is usually measured by the number of degrees from the starting position of a segment to its position at the end of its arc. (NCI Thesaurus)
