Rap Guanine Nucleotide Exchange Factor 1
Ubiquitously expressed by human GRF2 Gene (as at least 2 alternative isoforms), Guanine Nucleotide-Releasing Factor-2 is an adaptor-type Ras-GEF/SH2-domain protein involved in signal transmission from cell surface to the nucleus. GRF2 binds to CRK and GRB2/ASH SH3 domains and transduces signals to activate RAS. (NCI Thesaurus/LocusLink)
