Recombinant Fowlpox-Prostate Specific Antigen
A recombinant cancer vaccine consisting of a fowlpox virus vector encoding the prostate-specific antigen (PSA). This agent stimulates cytotoxic T-lymphocytes to target PSA-expressing tumor cells. The fowlpox virus vector is easily manipulated and does not multiply in human tissues. (NCI Thesaurus)
