Retrovirus Insertion Modification
Organism modification caused by change in its genetic material brought about by retrovirus. The retrovirus constructs a DNA version of its genes using a special enzyme called reverse transcriptase and this DNA then becomes part of the cell's genetic material. (NCI Thesaurus)
