    S-100 Immunohistochemistry Staining Method

    An immunohistochemical method to detect the S-100 protein which derives from the neural crest. This staining method is used in diagnostic pathology to identify malignant tumors (e.g., melanomas, clear cell sarcomas, and malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors) that are positive for S-100.
