सङ्खतलक्खणसुत्त
Saṅkhatalakkhaṇasutta
Characteristics of the Conditioned
“तीणिमानि, भिक्खवे, सङ्खतस्स सङ्खतलक्खणानि। कतमानि तीणि? उप्पादो पञ्ञायति, वयो पञ्ञायति, ठितस्स अञ्ञथत्तं पञ्ञायति। इमानि खो, भिक्खवे, तीणि सङ्खतस्स सङ्खतलक्खणानी”ति।
“Tīṇimāni, bhikkhave, saṅkhatassa saṅkhatalakkhaṇāni. Katamāni tīṇi? Uppādo paññāyati, vayo paññāyati, ṭhitassa aññathattaṁ paññāyati. Imāni kho, bhikkhave, tīṇi saṅkhatassa saṅkhatalakkhaṇānī”ti.
“Bhikkhus, conditioned phenomena have these three characteristics. What three? Arising is evident, vanishing is evident, and change while persisting is evident. These are the three characteristics of conditioned phenomena.”

Characteristics of the Unconditioned
“तीणिमानि, भिक्खवे, असङ्खतस्स असङ्खतलक्खणानि। कतमानि तीणि? न उप्पादो पञ्ञायति, न वयो पञ्ञायति, न ठितस्स अञ्ञथत्तं पञ्ञायति। इमानि खो, भिक्खवे, तीणि असङ्खतस्स असङ्खतलक्खणानी”ति।
