Severity of Adverse Event
The intensity of a specific adverse event evaluated based on the magnitude of clinical signs, symptoms and findings. Severe adverse event may be of relatively minor medical significance. The term is not synonymous with the term seriousness of adverse event. (NCI Thesaurus)
