    “បញ្ចហិ, ភិក្ខវេ, ធម្មេហិ សមន្នាគតោ ភិក្ខុ អាហុនេយ្យោ ហោតិ បាហុនេយ្យោ ទក្ខិណេយ្យោ អញ្ជលិករណីយោ អនុត្តរំ បុញ្ញក្ខេត្តំ លោកស្ស។

    “Bhikkhus, a bhikkhu with five qualities is worthy of offerings dedicated to the gods, worthy of hospitality, worthy of a religious donation, worthy of veneration with joined palms, and is the supreme field of merit for the world.

    កតមេហិ បញ្ចហិ? ឥធ, ភិក្ខវេ, ភិក្ខុ សីលសម្បន្នោ ហោតិ, សមាធិសម្បន្នោ ហោតិ, បញ្ញាសម្បន្នោ ហោតិ, វិមុត្តិសម្បន្នោ ហោតិ, វិមុត្តិញាណទស្សនសម្បន្នោ ហោតិ។

    What five? It’s when a bhikkhu is accomplished in ethics, immersion, wisdom, freedom, and the knowledge and vision of freedom.

    ឥមេហិ ខោ, ភិក្ខវេ, បញ្ចហិ ធម្មេហិ សមន្នាគតោ ភិក្ខុ អាហុនេយ្យោ ហោតិ បាហុនេយ្យោ ទក្ខិណេយ្យោ អញ្ជលិករណីយោ អនុត្តរំ បុញ្ញក្ខេត្តំ លោកស្សា”តិ។

    A bhikkhu with these five qualities is worthy of offerings dedicated to the gods, worthy of hospitality, worthy of a religious donation, worthy of veneration with joined palms, and is the supreme field of merit for the world.”
