    सोसानिकसुत्त

    Charnel Ground Dwellers

    “पञ्चिमे, भिक्खवे, सोसानिका। कतमे पञ्च? मन्दत्ता मोमूहत्ता सोसानिको होति …पे… इदमत्थितंयेव निस्साय सोसानिको होति। इमे खो, भिक्खवे, पञ्च सोसानिका”ति।

    “Pañcime, bhikkhave, sosānikā. Katame pañca? Mandattā momūhattā sosāniko hoti …pe… idamatthitaṁyeva nissāya sosāniko hoti. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca sosānikā”ti.

    “Bhikkhus, there are these five kinds of people who dwell in a charnel ground. What five? A person may dwell in a charnel ground because of stupidity … corrupt wishes … madness … because it is praised by the Buddhas … or for the sake of having few wishes … These are the five kinds of people who dwell in a charnel ground.”
