Spindle Cell Rhabdomyosarcoma
Definition 1
A morphologic variant of embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma characterized by the presence of whorls of spindle cells forming a storiform pattern. In children it usually arises from soft tissues of the scrotum or head and neck; in adults it arises in non-paratesticular regions. (NCI Thesaurus)
