Streptobacillus moniliformis
Definition 1
A species of facultatively anaerobic, Gram negative, rod shaped bacteria in the phylum Fusobacteria. This species is catalase, oxidase, urease , and citrate negative and does not produce indole or reduce nitrate. S. moniliformis is found in rats and is a causative agent of rat bite fever in humans.
