Subjective Opiate Withdrawal Scale Questionnaire
Definition 1
A standardized rating scale developed by Leonard Handelsman and colleagues in 1987 to evaluate the severity of an individual's opiate withdrawal signs and symptoms. This instrument contains 16 items or symptoms that pertain to opiate withdrawal, which are completed by the individual.
