Telomerase Inhibitor
Any substance that inhibits telomerase, a ribonucleoprotein enzyme complex that adds telomeric sequences to the 3-ends of eukaryotic chromosomes. Telomerase is quiescent in most normal cells but active in most tumors. (NCI Thesaurus)
