Encoded by human THSD2 Gene, Thrombospondin Type I Domain 2 Protein contains a furin-like cysteine-rich region and is similar to thrombospondin type 1 domain-containing proteins. Furin-like domains have been found in proteins involved in signal transduction by receptor tyrosine kinases. The function of this protein has not been determined. (NCI Thesaurus)
