    Toxicology and Mutagenesis Testing Shared Resource

    Toxicology and Mutagenesis Testing Shared Resource provides Cancer Center investigators with support and expertise in toxicology and mutagenesis testing of pharmaceuticals, drug candidates, biotechnology products, chemicals, agrochemicals, and other test substances in a variety of assays (e.g. Ames test, E. coli mutation assay, micronucleus and transgenic rodent mutagenesis assays, mammalian cell gene mutation and chromosome aberrations assays) according to the FDA, EPA and MAIR regulatory requirements; and develops new molecular biological techniques allowing detection and characterization of toxic responses at the cellular level.
