    TPR/NTRK1 Fusion Gene TRKT1

A fusion gene (~1.7 kb) that results from an inversion of on the q arm of chromosome 1 that fuses 598 nucleotides from the 5' end of the TPR gene to 1148 nucleotides from the 3' portion of the NTRK1 gene. This rearrangement is associated with papillary thyroid carcinoma. (NCI Thesaurus)
