Traumatic Neuroma
A non-neoplastic proliferation of a nerve caused by injury to the nerve due to trauma or surgery. It presents as a firm nodule that may be associated with pain or tenderness. It most often occurs in the lower extremity following amputation, or in the head and neck region. (NCI Thesaurus)
