    TTC4 wt Allele

Human TTC4 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 1p31.3 and is approximately 27 kb in length. This allele, which encodes tetratricopeptide repeat protein 4, plays a putative role in the mediation of protein-membrane or protein-protein interactions. The TTC4 gene is localized to a chromosomal region commonly deleted in sporadic breast cancer. (NCI Thesaurus)
