A commercial preparation, by Pfizer, containing witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) extract, with anti-pruritic activity. Witch hazel extract has been shown to inhibit alpha-glucosidase as well as human leukocyte elastase, enzymes which contribute to the degradation of connective tissue.
