    Undifferentiated Ovarian Carcinoma

    An aggressive carcinoma arising from the ovary. Most patients present with advanced disease. Microscopically, it is characterized by significant cytologic atypia, increased mitotic activity, and necrosis. The prognosis is usually poor. (NCI Thesaurus)
