Ventricular Tachycardia
Definition 1
A disorder characterized by an electrocardiographic finding of three or more consecutive complexes of ventricular origin with a rate greater than a certain threshold (100 or 120 beats per minute are commonly used). The QRS complexes are wide and have an abnormal morphology. (NCI Thesaurus/CDISC)
Definition 2
A disorder characterized by a dysrhythmia with a heart rate greater than 100 beats per minute that originates distal to the bundle of His. (NCI Thesaurus/CTCAE)
Definition 3
An abnormally rapid ventricular rhythm with aberrant ventricular excitation, usually in excess of 150 beats per minute. (Food and Drug Administration)
