    X-Linked Bulbar-Muscular Atrophy

    A rare, slowly progressive degenerative disorder affecting males. It is caused by mutations in the androgen receptor (AR) gene. It is characterized by bulbar and limb muscle weakness and atrophy, and gynecomastia. (NCI Thesaurus)
