Y 90 Monoclonal Antibody M195
A radioimmunoconjugate of humanized M195 monoclonal antibody (MoAb) conjugated with isotope yttrium 90. MoAb M195 is reactive with the cell surface antigen CD33, a glycoprotein found on myeloid leukemia blasts and early hematopoietic progenitor cells but not on normal stem cells. This radioimmunoconjugate emits beta particles that causes cytotoxicity in tumor cells and has both imaging and therapeutic uses. (NCI Thesaurus)
